Volcanic Archipelagos – Honolulu, Papeete & Port Vila
About this cruise
Clear the calendar from October 1, 2027. This one's 25 nights from Seattle, and the route visits Honolulu, Moorea Island and Papeete, with additional stops along the Pacific Islands. By the time you're a week in, you'll have completely stopped checking your phone. You finish in Brisbane. It starts gently with sea days, so by the time you reach the first port you'll have explored the ship and actually feel on holiday. The Pacific Islands route takes in United States, French Polynesia, Vanuatu and Australia, 4 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. You get around 13 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Voyager Of The Seas keeps you well fed. 8 places to eat, with 2 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. An October sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
