Western Caribbean Escape – Cozumel & Roatan
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Galveston on December 26, 2026 visits Cozumel, Roatan Island, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The Caribbean route takes in Mexico, Honduras and Belize, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Costa Maya alone is worth the trip, Mexico's quieter Caribbean escape among Mayan ruins. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Galveston before boarding. It's a good city to wander. Worth booking. That's the short version.
