Cobalt Fjord – Hubbard Glacier & Juneau
About this cruise
You won't run out of things to do on a trip this long, but you also won't feel like you have to do any of them. 14 nights from Vancouver on June 16, 2027, visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier, Whittier and Glacier Bay. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Most ports give you about 11 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Coral Princess takes the food seriously, with 11 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. 14 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. A proper voyage for people who like to take their time and hate rushing through destinations. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Vancouver has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
