Monsoon Silk – Hong Kong, Saigon & Keelung
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 24 nights from Yokohama on November 25, 2026, visiting Kagoshima, Nagasaki and Ishigaki, with additional stops along the Southeast Asia. Disembarkation is in Singapore. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Yokohama, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The Southeast Asia route takes in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore, 5 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Nagasaki, A city of peace, bridges, and lantern festivals. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Diamond Princess keeps you well fed. 12 places to eat, with 7 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in Yokohama before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
