Monsoon Whispers – Penang, Bangkok & Saigon
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 13-night sailing from Singapore on January 20, 2027 visits Pulau Penang Island, Klang, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Koh Samui Island and Laem Chabang (Bangkok). The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. 3 countries (Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand) across the Southeast Asia, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 13 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Mein Schiff 6. 8 restaurants come with the fare, plus 3 more when you feel like treating yourself. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. The timing adds to it: swapping cold weather for sunshine and sea air is the whole pitch for a winter cruise. 13 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
