Nordic Escape – Stavanger & Oslo
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 6-night sailing from Southampton on October 10, 2026 visits Stavanger and Oslo. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Southampton, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. Midnight sun, Viking history, and landscapes that look photoshopped but aren't. Oslo stands out. It's Viking ships and northern cool on the fjord. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Liberty Of The Seas keeps you well fed. 10 places to eat, with 3 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Southampton before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All in all, it's a solid trip.
