Pacific Basin – Victoria & Juneau
About this cruise
You board in Seattle on August 13, 2026 for 7 nights visiting Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Ketchikan alone is worth the trip, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Carnival Miracle takes the food seriously, with 7 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. Worth booking. That's the short version.
