Panama Canal Adventure – San Diego & Cartagena
About this cruise
24 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Seattle on September 28, 2026 and the route takes you through Los Angeles, San Diego and Cabo San Lucas, with additional stops along the Caribbean at a pace where there's never any need to rush. Disembarkation is in Miami. You ease into this one, with a few sea days up front to find your rhythm before the 10 port calls start. The Caribbean route takes in United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Cayman Islands and Jamaica, 7 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Grand Cayman Island, Seven Mile Beach and stingray encounters. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. MSC Poesia keeps you well fed. 5 places to eat, with 4 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Seattle before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
