Alaskan Fjord Escape – Ketchikan & Victoria
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on September 21, 2026 visits Ketchikan, Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau and Victoria. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The wildlife alone makes it worth it: whales, bears, eagles, sea otters. Bring binoculars. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Sitka, Russian heritage on a rainforest shore. Port time is tight at about 6 hours each. Pick your favourites and save the rest for another trip. MSC Poesia keeps you well fed. 5 places to eat, with 4 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Seattle before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
