Southeast Asia Discovery – Halong Bay & Saigon
About this cruise
12 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Hong Kong on December 9, 2027 and the route takes you through Halong Bay, Da Nang and Nha Trang, with additional stops along the Southeast Asia at a pace where there's never any need to rush. You wind up in Singapore, so it's worth planning a night or two there. You ease into this one, with a few sea days up front to find your rhythm before the 7 port calls start. The route threads through 3 countries along the Southeast Asia coast: Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. Da Nang stands out. It's Vietnam's dragon bridge city on the coast. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. There are 13 restaurants on Norwegian Jade, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 12 nights. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Hong Kong itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. A December sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. All in all, it's a solid trip.
