Spice & Sapphire Seas – Puerto Plata & Tortola
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Miami on September 4, 2027 visits Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 4 borders through the Caribbean: Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Of the stops, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) tends to be the one people talk about: Dominican amber and Atlantic waves. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Norwegian Aura joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2027. Still has that new-ship feel. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
