Sugar Cane Coast – Amber Cove & Tortola
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Miami on November 15, 2026 visits Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The route threads through 4 countries along the Caribbean coast: Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Tortola, BVI's mountainous sailing paradise. With about 8 hours at each port, you'll want a plan, or at least a shortlist. Norwegian Aqua joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. Miami itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
