A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on August 24, 2027 visits Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Ketchikan. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Skagway stands out. It's Gold Rush spirit in a fjord-locked town. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Emerald Princess takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool.
