Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 12-night sailing from New York on January 4, 2027 visits Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), San Juan, Basseterre, Tortola, Philipsburg and St. Thomas. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. The route threads through 6 countries along the Caribbean coast: Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts & Nevis, British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten and U.S. Virgin Islands. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 18 restaurants on Norwegian Bliss, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 12 nights. 12 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people.
