Alaska Glacier Trail – Hubbard & Juneau
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Vancouver on August 16, 2027 visits Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier and Whittier and doesn't try to cram in too much. You wind up in Whittier, so it's worth planning a night or two there. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. Hubbard Glacier stands out. It's North America's largest tidewater glacier. Around 12 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Norwegian Jade has 13 dining spots on board, most of them included. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All in all, it's a solid trip.
