Obsidian Peak – Skjolden, Akureyri & Reykjavik
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from Southampton on June 18, 2027 visits Haugesund, Skjolden and Ålesund, with additional stops along the Northern Europe & Scandinavia. The ports come early and the voyage wraps with sea days. A good way to decompress before heading home. From Bergen's coloured waterfront to the fjords beyond, this is Scandinavia doing what it does best. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Majestic Princess. 5 restaurants come with the fare, plus 4 more when you feel like treating yourself. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Whether you've cruised before or not, this 14-night itinerary is a genuinely good one.
