Alaska & Japan Discovery – Yokohama to Vancouver
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 16-night sailing from Yokohama on April 24, 2027 visits Sendai, Hakodate and Hubbard Glacier, with additional stops along the Alaska. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Alaska tour: 3 countries, from Japan to Canada. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Norwegian Jade has 13 dining spots on board, most of them included. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. 16 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
