Alaskan Wilderness – Hakodate & Juneau
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 15-night sailing from Yokohama on April 23, 2028 visits Sendai, Hakodate and Icy Strait Point, with additional stops along the Alaska. The trip wraps in Vancouver, so you won't retrace your steps. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Alaska tour: 3 countries, from Japan to Canada. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Norwegian Jade has 13 dining spots on board, most of them included. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Whether you've cruised before or not, this 15-night itinerary is a genuinely good one.
