Alaskan Wilderness – Juneau & Skagway
About this cruise
This one leaves San Francisco on July 6, 2026 and spends 10 nights visiting Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan and Prince Rupert at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. You're essentially sailing through a nature documentary. Pack layers. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Carnival Luminosa. 6 restaurants come with the fare, plus 3 more when you feel like treating yourself. 10 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
