Alaskan Wilderness – Ketchikan & Juneau

You board in Seattle on July 20, 2026 for 7 nights visiting Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Keep an eye out for Icy Strait Point: Wilderness at the edge of the Inside Passage. Roughly 6 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. MSC Poesia takes the food seriously, with 5 restaurants to choose from. 4 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. That's 7 nights well spent.
