A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on May 10, 2026 visits Icy Strait Point, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau and Ketchikan. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Ketchikan alone is worth the trip, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Celebrity Solstice takes the food seriously, with 10 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. Worth booking.
