New England Escape – Boston, Bar Harbor & Quebec
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 11 nights from Philadelphia on September 5, 2026, visiting Boston, Bar Harbor and Saint John, with additional stops along the US & Canada East Coast. You get off in Quebec City, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 8 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Manhattan skyline to maritime Canada. City energy at one end, quiet fishing towns at the other. Don't rush through Boston, which is known as Freedom Trail, clam chowder, and cobblestones. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Norwegian Jewel keeps you well fed. 13 places to eat, with 6 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in Philadelphia before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All told, 8 ports across 11 nights covers a lot.
